Five FALCON players were reported to possibly escaped a plane crash
ahead of the year's Africans Women Cup of Nations finals.
The players were forced to travel by road from Douala to Yaounde on Wednesday, November 30.
The aircraft whic they were supposed to fly with later developed electrical faults shortly before takeoff, according to Nigerian Bulletin.
It was later gathered that the flight was scheduled to takeoff Douaula 9am, for a 45mins flight to Yaounde but CAF couldn't secure seats for the players.
On getting to Douala airport, CAF officials could not secure
enough seats for the entire Nigerian team on one plane and the remaining
five were checked in for another flight which eventually did not fly.
The trip is four hours by road.
